Immerse yourself into the poetry of ethereal ambience entwined with luxurious elegance. This shoot was curated in the name of specially tailored elements that worship a timeless wedding aesthetic. Beauty that is found in the whisper of airy fabrics, in the mysticism of the bridal bliss, in every glimmer of romantic sophistication, and in the passionate intimacy that engraves its tale in the walls of an historic castle.

We wanted to incorporate an avant-garde and artistic look that would inspire wedding couples to reach for their dreams – to realize their fantasies of having an otherworldly and surreal experience. With this shoot, we wanted to also show what the wedding industry is capable of: Setting the highest aesthetic standards while always in conjunction with the natural environment. Sustainable luxury that also protects the resources of our planet earth.

I was so thankful and honoured to have worked with such gifted and creative vendors who are just as passionate about the preservation of the environment as much as I am. The whole exquisiteness was planned by Kola Weddingz, who coordinated every element very diligently and masterfully with sustainable flair. Starting with the stationery, the paper was completely handmade by Eliv Rosenkranz; and the gentle ink that adorned its beauty was artfully handwritten by Rosenblau Kalligrafie in Austria. The sublime allure of these romantic florals was arranged by Tamara Burchardi, which were regional and seasonal. Furthermore, her principles channel sustainability at all times, working always with flowers that are within the EU.

The designer, Leila Hafzi, showed everyone how a wedding dress can be ethical and eco-consciously made while also being truly iconic. To complete the luxury sustainable beauty, Monvieve was the designer behind this couture veil. Impressively enough, their veils are all made by hand, made to order, and have profound roots in the principles of slow fashion. For every veil they sell, they are also planting one tree with the help of the National Forest Foundation. The bridal look was completed by the creative hair and makeup artist, Stephanie Hertel.

As for the groom’s outfit, it was a timeless vintage Gucci rental. Fabian Zug was behind the gorgeous craftsmanship of the groom’s shoes. It is a label for the gentlemen, for all those dandies and bon viveurs among us. Bespoke shoemaking that belts on high-quality leathers, craftsmanship and sewn-welted designs.

The blue bridal shoes, on the other hand, were designed by Liu Jo, and the white ones by Buffalo. The breathtaking rings were from Amano Jewels, embellished with lab-grown diamonds; while the wedding rings were sustainability at their best - made by recycled gold in the skilled hands of Max Kemper. Because nothing is complete without something sweet, the whole aesthetic was crowned with a truly breathtaking, contemporary yet elegant cake made by Fräulein Gusti, including also the ever so irresistible macarons.

Isaiah Koranchie and Yana Milman perfectly embodied and portrayed every single aspect of this shoot, breathing life into the walls of Schloss Virnsberg. It was my pleasure to capture the divinity of it and create an everlasting memory. Now, I invite you to float away with my photography and be inspired by the surreal mysticism of ethereal romantic weddings.
