LeighAnne Tucci, the Senior Catering Manager at Conrad New York, shares more about what to expect when planning a wedding at this Gotham hot spot.

GO: If you had to describe the property in three words, what would they be?
A: Impactful, bold, memorable.

GO: How far in advance does a couple need to reserve a wedding date?
A: I typically recommend no less than 11 months before a couples' desired date.

GO: Are onsite wedding planners available for the wedding process?
A: As a Senior Catering Manager, I provide guidance, suggestions and assistance for my couples, but do not serve as a wedding planner. We encourage our couples to work with either a planner or day-of planner to help manage the vendors (ie: band and florist), as well as family requests and last minute needs.

GO: Are accommodations and buyouts available? What is the capacity limit?
A: Buyouts are available when booking our Gallery Ballroom, which is located on our 4th floor. Often, couples will have their ceremony in the North East Gallery Pre-Function space, which features floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking Battery Park City. Then, they will enjoy a cocktail reception and party in Gallery Ballroom, having full control of the 4th floor – a buyout of this space. We recommend no more than 450 guests in this scenario.

GO: What spaces are available for ceremonies and receptions?
A: There are numerous spaces available for ceremonies or receptions at Conrad New York, and we are able to accommodate weddings from 100 people to 450. For larger weddings, we recommend our grand Gallery Ballroom - which is just under 6,300 sq. ft. and located on our 4th floor. The pre-function space on the 4th floor is just under 8,400 sq. ft. and a great place to host the ceremony and/or cocktail reception when the party is in the Gallery Ballroom.

Another ceremony option for our larger weddings is our West Ballroom, which is located on the 2nd floor, and just under 3,400 sq. ft. This ballroom can accommodate about 275 wedding attendees. Couples selecting this option can have their reception and/or ceremony in the pre-function space (which is 2,289 sq. ft.). Couples getting married with smaller guest lists can always select to section off one-third of either ballroom and host their reception or cocktail hour in this space.

GO: What are some of the amenities, incentives and activities that Conrad New York offers a couple?
A: When a couple gets married, we offer a number of great concessions. Couples are eligible for up to 100,000 Hilton Honors points, based on the amount of money they spend from a catering standpoint. Furthermore, couples who book room blocks at Conrad New York are eligible for room upgrades at a discounted price, complimentary nights and up to 60,000 Hilton Honors points.
