GO: If you had to describe W Punta de Mita in three words, what would they be? What makes the property special?

W Punta de Mita is one of a kind. From the moment you arrive to our Motor Lobby, to the vibrant colors throughout the property, you will realize you have never been to a hotel like this one. That is speaking in general; when it comes to weddings, all weddings are from scratch, built and created from zero. The size of the property allows you to offer wedding guests an intimate feel and a very personalized service to your event.
GO: How far in advance does a couple need to reserve a wedding date?
A: All couples are different. We have booked weddings within a month of its date, through two years before. We work on a first come first serve basis; therefore, I recommend at least 15 months in advance if you have a specific date in mind.
GO: Are onsite wedding planners available for the wedding process?
A: We have an on-site Wedding Coordinator for your event. It is important to state there is a difference. After booking your wedding date, you will be handed over to your Wedding Coordinator, who is in charge of your event. However, keep in mind, we have weddings, corporate events, and social groups almost every weekend. The coordinator will work with you and the hotel’s go-to providers to make sure everything is ready for your big day. If you are looking to design a certain look for your event and feel you need someone with you from day one, we recommend hiring a local wedding planner through our Wedding Coordinator.
GO: Are accommodations and buyouts available? What is the capacity limit?
A: Yes, buyouts are available and recommended if you are looking to have 100% intimacy. The capacity limit is 3 adults at each room, or 2 adults and 2 kids per room, considering we have 119 rooms. However, our venue spaces can hold from 50 - 300 guests maximum. If you are considering a buyout, please note there will be a Beverage & Food minimum required per person, per night depending on the season.
GO: What spaces are available for ceremonies and receptions?
A: Huichol Bridge for intimate ceremonies up to 40 guests; Beach ceremony for up to 150 guests; Lawn Ceremony for 300 guests. Beach reception 100 guests due to high tide. Lawn reception 300 guests, and Chevycheria area can host 150 guests.
GO: What are some of the amenities, incentives and activities that the property offers a couple?
A: As for activities, we work with our Specialized Concierge service in case you are looking for off property activities such as: Whale watching, Surfing, PADDLE BOARDING, Scuba diving, Yatching & sailing, Sport fishing, Snorkeling, Dolphin swimming, and sea lion encounters.

A: Our menus are 100% personalized. We of course have our popular buffet menus and plated menus; however, we will cater to your needs. Family style, buffet, food stations, 3 course, 5 course, midnight snacks, you name it. We will add to our menus, substitute options, or build one just for you. Our talented Banquet Chef is always ready for a challenge.
