We couldn’t be happier to announce that the legendary Hotel Bel-Air is celebrating 75 years of history and glamour. A beacon of old-school glamour and the birthplace of the Bel-Air community – not to mention, a beloved wedding destination amongst Grace Ormonde Wedding Style couples – Hotel Bel-Air has been delivering low-key elegance since 1946. Since opening its doors, Hotel Bel-Air has been a favored retreat for the brightest lights in Hollywood, international jet-set, leading politicians, and VIPs looking to escape from it all and enjoy the California sunshine undisturbed.

Located on Stone Canyon Rd. high above the hustle and bustle of LA, Hotel Bel-Air is a lush 12-acre paradise, known for offering privacy and exclusivity – a Californian oasis of luxury and relaxation. Hotel Bel-Air is a treasure trove of historic and glamorous happenings; it's where Marilyn Monroe held a private suite while married to baseball heartthrob Joe DiMaggio; it served as the backdrop for several Hollywood blockbusters including three-time Oscar nominee ,That Touch of Mink, with Cary Grant and Doris Day; it's where Elizabeth Taylor lived with husband-of-the-moment, Nicky Hilton; and the Prince of Wales famously said he's never slept better than when he stays in the hotel's Presidential Suite (complete with private palm-tree lined pool).

Hotel Bel-Air is also where Marilyn Monroe sat for photographer Bert Stern's "The Last Sitting," a 12-hour photoshoot that took place in June of 1962 and resulted in 2,571 magical portraits of Marilyn that reveal an unreserved and glamorous Marilyn, and a last intimate glance into the Hollywood icon's life. To celebrate 75 years of Hotel Bel-Air, a rare exhibition of 9 images from "The Last Sitting" will be on display at the hotel from September 1st to October 31st.

In addition to this special exhibit, Hotel Bel-Air has curated special libations that honor the hotel's storied history including “The Alphonzo Bell” – a rum and apple cocktail that nods to the hotel's founder, as well as a “75 Years of Bel-Air” spa experience that entails an aromatic bath, followed by a massage and pedicure. Hotel Bel-Air has also continued offering “Bel-Air Under the Stars,” where guests can enjoy an evening spent by their own private fire pit with dinner and dessert by the talented Wolfgang Puck.
