While visiting the Hamptons from Las Vegas, Michelle Ferraro met Michael Tadross who was greeting patrons dining at his restaurant. His generosity in offering her party complimentary food and drinks, prompted her to say, “If you ever come my way, let me take you out.”
A smitten Michael flew westward the very next weekend saying that he was in Las Vegas on business. “We got along great and laughed the entire time,” says Michelle, who agreed to be flown back to Long Island the following weekend.
“IT WAS MY CASTLE FOR A NIGHT, AND I UTILIZED EVERY SPACE THEY HAD”
The commuter romance continued until the night Michael took Michelle up in a helicopter and proposed over strawberries and champagne, while hovering above the Vegas strip.
Michelle spent months looking for a unique, private venue and discovered the “picture perfect” Oheka Castle. “It was my castle for a night, and I utilized every space they had,” she says.
“The couple’s monogram appeared on floors, walls, champagne glasses and candy jars, while regal white orchid arrangements adorned the tables. “It was exceptional when I walked into the ballroom and saw my vision brought to life,” says Michelle.
Though they no longer commute to see each other, Michelle and Michael are still accruing sky miles: “Our honeymoon has lasted a year with trips to London, Paris and Hawaii among others,” says Michelle. “We plan to travel everywhere we can before having kids.”
