We met in January 2010 in an elevator at Boston Architectural College where we both were studying to receive Master's degrees. Dustin was a second semester veteran who thoughtfully offered to help me, a first semester newcomer, with my studio work.
Nearly five months later we went on our first date, a "quick drink" that lasted for over four hours. We both thought at the end of that date that we had found something special... and we were right!

As we both worked full time during our studies, we did not have a lot of time to spend planning our wedding, but every detail was important to us! It was really helpful that we had great wedding planner to guide us every step of the way.
As an interior designer, I cared a great deal about creating the perfect setting down to the smallest detail and our wedding planners streamlined the process by guiding us in our choices and selections. Dustin, an architect, cared mostly about the food and the entertainment. I also focused intensely on the flowers, linens and the overall aesthetic of our night.
Our wedding day was the most perfect day of my life and having all of our friends and family around us as we celebrated our love and commitment to one another meant so much. We included a lot of personal elements to ensure our families and pasts were a part of the day – my bouquet was wrapped in Dustin’s grandmother’s handkerchief, I wore my great grandmother’s jewelry and our signature cocktails were named after our two dogs.
Our guests had an amazing time and so did we! It was such a special day and everything fell into place perfectly.
