    HAYLEY FREEMAN & BRYAN HEARD

June 7, 2014 in Las Vegas, Nevada

When Hayley joined the online dating service, Match.com, she was not quite sure who or what she would find. Bryan, was not quite sure either, thought, “Why not?”   From two hesitantly written profiles, a wink, a flirt and an email came a love that took on a traditional turn. Almost immediately, they knew they had found their “other.”

They dated for three years before Bryan nervously presented her with a ring. Hayley accepted and called her planner the very next morning, anxious to begin planning the rest of her life!  Hayley and Bryan’s love was infectious, according to her planner.

Hayley said, “I’ll never forget what my wedding planner told me the first time we met.  She said, “There is no perfect ring, until the perfect guy puts it on your finger." Perfect became what made sense for them, as opposed to what looked good on paper.

With a very strong perspective on style and knowing what looked and felt good on her, they headed to the Mina Olive Salon and met with the owner and designer, Megan Thomson. With monthly fittings and changes, Hayley’s wedding dress was a couture creation that perfectly conveyed her sparkling personality.

Next, Hayley wanted a space that felt grand and expansive that would allow them to create a feeling of intimacy for 200 guests. The Keep Memory Alive Center was the natural and immediate choice! Designed by Frank Gehry, the building possessed crumpled steel on the outside and modern white light on the inside.

When the day of the wedding finally arrived, Hayley was radiant with excitement. AltF Photography and Lighten Films joined in the fun, documenting behind the scenes moments.

To give Hayley and Bryan an emotional connection to the ceremony location, they arranged to have the Nevada Children’s Discovery Museum open one of their balconies and as the couple kissed, for the first time, they were showered with rose petals.

At the reception, a white dance floor with the couple’s monogram sat in the center of the room with the couple’s sweetheart table just behind it, glimmering with crystals, champagne, candles and flowers.

The real showpiece was a seven tiered custom confection cake designed and crafted by Tiffany Sheree Jones of Peridot Sweets. The cake was suspended by metal cords wrapped in crystals, hanging just feet away from the dance floor.

Hayley and Bryan set the tone for the rest of the evening by sending their guests out to an instrumental version of one of Kanye West’s more controversial songs! Then they took to the floor and brought the crowd to their feet with an up-tempo rumba to Justin Timberlake’s “Mirrors.”

Guests were treated to a gourmet feast with Master Chef Gustav Mueller, overseeing the kitchen, and wines by Wolfgang Puck being poured tableside. Toasts were made by family and friends before the bridal party danced to Pharrell’s “Happy”.  “It was those unplanned moments that really meant the most,” Haley said.
