I grew up in Maine but would spend summers on Long Island. Alex and I met through mutual friends in 2006. Three days later, we went on our first official date, and the rest is history.
While dating, we traveled the world together: France, Monaco, Italy, Germany, Austria, England.

On our first night there, Alex proposed. We got married 14 months later, at the Mandarin Oriental in New York City.
