    CASSIE ROSSITER AND ANDREW SAVAGE

September 9, 2016. Park City, Utah

Cassie and Andrew first met in high school – Cassie a sophomore, and Andrew a senior. At the time, Cassie was dating one of Andrew’s friends. “When I first met Andrew, I thought he was extremely tall (he’s 6’8” and I’m 5’1”) and a little bit cocky,” she describes. “On the contrary, he thought I was a little stuck up. After about four years of no contact, we randomly reconnected on social media and went on our first date.”

Romance between the two blossomed rather quickly, and both often discussed marriage. After three years of dating, the couple was vacationing in Hawaii when Andrew popped the question in November of 2015. “He took me to Kilauea’s Stone Dam – a beautiful manmade dam filled with small bridges and Hawaiian flower gardens,” Cassie recalls. “The scene was absolutely breathtaking, and a moment neither of us will ever forget.”

IT WAS A TRULY MAGICAL NIGHT FILLED WITH SO MUCH LOVE AND HAPPINESS.

Although Cassie always knew what she wanted for her dream wedding, the wedding planning process proved to be more complicated than she expected. Her mother and sister were especially helpful during that time, and everything came together much easier once a wedding planner was brought on board.

On the morning of the big day, the bride and groom enjoyed separate breakfasts with their respective bridal parties, and the groom and groomsmen headed off to the barbershop. “As the day went on, the anxiety started to grow,” Cassie describes. “While blow-drying my hair, I started having my newly taped in extensions come out in chunks, and the boys had some mix-ups with tuxes! Once the ceremony started, we were both really anxious and ready to be with each other.”

Despite the hectic morning, an intimate ceremony unfolded, focused on the celebration of the bride and groom’s love. The décor reflected elegance and class, with a crisp color palette of white, black, and glittering gold accents. A bevy of orchids and candlelight created a romantic ambiance, and crystal chandeliers hung from the ceiling.

During the reception, guests enjoyed many of Cassie and Andrew’s favorite treats, such as the St. Regis’s famous hot chocolate – a perfect pairing for the fire pits, where everyone roasted marshmallows under the stars.

“The reception was extremely fun and upbeat,” says Cassie. “The majority of the night was a big dance party! We were both happy with the way everything turned out. It was a truly magical night filled with so much love and happiness.”
