Stella Choi and Anthony Chun began their relationship as close friends. Eight years into their friendship, the two were invited on a snowboarding trip to Tahoe, during which Stella was trying to decide whether to stay in the states or return home to Korea.
As she and Anthony were talking that night, she realized he was her reason to stay. In 2014, Anthony knelt down on one knee and proposed on the sandy beach of Hawaii’s Magic Island.
“THE COUPLE WAS ABLE TO TRANSLATE THEIR VISION INTO A STORYBOOK WEDDING DAY”
From start to finish, Stella and Anthony made their wedding planning process as fun as possible, being sure to enjoy each step. With the help of wedding planner Grace Song, the couple was able to translate their vision into a storybook wedding day. This also included a special photoshoot together with a “Red Riding Hood” theme.
When the wedding day arrived, all the bride and groom could think about was how happy they were to share such a meaningful day with friends and family from around the world. After a chaotic morning of getting ready, the bride was excitedly waiting at the end of the aisle with her father, and it wasn’t until she was halfway down the aisle that she finally saw the groom for the first time that day.
As the couple recited their vows, they promised each other that they wouldn’t only focus on saying “I love you” through words, but through their actions as well. With that promise, Anthony surprised Stella with a honeymoon trip to Jeju Island in Korea.
