Nicole and Matthew have always felt like old souls. When they met, the instant connection was undeniable, and they both knew they had found something special.

“Growing up in Long Island, with family at the core and a desire to always live life to the fullest,” Nicole shares, “our lives seemed to effortlessly blend together. We take pride in our roots, in the bold, vibrant personalities Italians are known for, and the refined taste that’s so intrinsic to our culture. Both of us are driven to achieve success, and together, we’ve worked toward living the luxurious life we’ve always dreamed of.”

Naturally, one of the shows that has always resonated with the couple is The Sopranos. The luxurious, “old money” aesthetic, combined with the iconic “mob wife” vibe was a theme and concept they gravitated toward.

“It’s bold, it’s timeless, and it’s undeniably glamorous,” Nicole describes, “exactly the tone we wanted to capture for our wedding. From the moment our save-the-dates went out, we knew we had to make a statement – old money, luxury, and fashion-forward style. Think The Sopranos, Frank Sinatra, and all the glam that came with it: pinstripe suits, extravagant gowns, fur coats, and understated yet elegant jewelry.”

For the couple’s engagement shoot with photographer Aly Kuler, they chose to step into character and embody that Sopranos-inspired essence. However, it was an unexpected encounter on their way to the photo shoot that made it a truly serendipitous experience.

“While walking through Penn Station,” says Nicole, “we bumped into none other than the actors who played Chrissy and Bobby from The Sopranos. It was such a surreal, full-circle moment. As we had spent months crafting our wedding aesthetic around the show, meeting them felt like a cosmic sign that we were accomplishing our vision. When true love meets the vision of an incredible photographer, it’s amazing what can come to life. One photo can capture not just a moment, but an entire story – and that’s exactly what we set out to do.”
